New: Elephone P5000 with 5-inch 1080p, 2GB/16GB, 8MP/16MP, 5350mAh & Fingerprint Scanner

The much awaited Elephone P5000 is finally here and is surely one of the greatest hits in the world of smartphones in 2015. It comes fully loaded with the most advanced technology available and yet available at very affordable rate of $239 (N47,000).
The smartphone has 5-inch, 1920×1080 resolution IPS display with OGS (One-Glass Solution) for its screen protection. Behind the hood of the Elephone P5000 are great specifications such as Octa-core MTK 6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB Memory, 16GB internal storage, 8MP ‘selfie’ camera and a 16MP rear HD camera with LED flash. A major feat of the device is its support for fingerprint scanning technology placed behind its home button for advanced authentication and security edge.
The Elephone P5000’s connectivity includes: wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot (3G Tethering), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (Near Field Communication for connectivity with other NFC devices like phones, authentication for POS, speakers and connectivity with other NFC smartphones), USB On-The-Go (OTG), GPS etc.
Other amazing features of the Android 4.4 KitKat-running smart device are: a whopping 5350mAh battery to last 16 long hours of continuous usage, 45days of standby time and still with extra juice to power another mobile phone running low on charge via the connection cable. Which is still excellent for a phone with 144x71x9.3 body dimension and weighs 205g.
The icing on the cake of the Elephone P5000 is its gesture recognition capability for easier and smoother hands-free access and its FM radio support.
Is there a better smartphone at this same price level?
